We are pleased to announce the EMAC Awards 2025, which will recognize outstanding contributions to the congress across various categories. The three main awards include
Best Communication Award
This award will be given to the best overall communication presented at EMAC 2025, whether in the form of an oral presentation or a poster. The winning contribution will demonstrate clarity, originality, and relevance to the congress topics.
Who can participate?
Any registered participant in the congress can participate.
Early Career Researcher Award
Aimed at recognizing the best contribution from an early career researcher, this award will honor an exceptional communication. The award will celebrate the work of researchers in the early stages of their career, highlighting their potential impact on the field
- Who can participate?
Only registered undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who have indicated in the abstract interest in competing for the award may participate.
Best Photo Award
This award will be presented to the best scientific image related to any topic of ceramic research. To participate, simply publish a picture on Instagram, tagging the page @emac2025bilbao and using the hashtags #emac2025bilbao and #BestPhotoAward. The deadline for submission is September 11th.

Awards Ceremony
The awards will be presented on the final day of the congress, 12th September 2025, and will be a special gesture to recognize the work of the researchers.
